TOKYO and AACHEN, GERMANY (July 24, 2024)—eMotion Fleet Inc., a provider of end-to-end, one-stop fleet electrification solutions, and ACCURE Battery Intelligence, a leading provider of predictive battery analytics software, announced today a new sales partnership agreement, under which the companies will offer battery safety and performance software solutions to owners and operators of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and commercial electric vehicle (EV) fleets in Japan.

ACCURE’s predictive analytics technology uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and physics-based modeling to detect irregular battery and equipment behavior, diagnose battery health, and recommend corrective action for any problems identified. The platform gives owners and operators of EV fleets and battery energy storage systems more insight, control, and lead time to address critical issues, ensuring their battery systems run safely, reliably and at peak performance. The technology uses cloud computing to analyze a continuous flow of data from each battery’s battery management system and can be applied to all lithium-based batteries, without the need for additional hardware.

Furthermore, ACCURE performs both near-term and long-term battery life predictions, visualizing the correlation of battery usage based on degradation trends and optimizing operations through selective battery replacement and warranty claim forecasting.

Combining ACCURE's technology with eMotion Fleet's extensive experience in EV implementation, will comprehensively support the planning of EV vehicle and charger deployment, as well as the design and installation of optimal charging infrastructure in Japan.
